Our annual cabin campout

Camp Sequassen is a scout camp in Northwest Connecticut, at the foot of the Berkshires in the town of New Hartford. Unlike the Lime Rock campout, this one is cabin camping: bunk beds, heat, hot water, indoor bathrooms and a kitchen with a fireplace. We're staying in Loomis Hall, which has ample space.

We typically arrive early Saturday afternoon and leave late morning or early afternoon on Sunday. Even if you have activities on Saturday, you can still join us later in the evening.

There are plenty of things for the kids to do exploring camp, and we may do some hiking. Bring sports equipment and board games too, if you like.

Good to know

Who needs a ticket?
Everyone who comes — scouts, parents and siblings. The ticket pays for the food and provisions, so it's per person.
How does the family cap work?
However many of you come, your family pays $40.00 at most. It counts everything registered from your account, so once you've reached it, anyone you add later is free. Each parent's account is capped on its own — have one parent register the whole family.
When am I registered?
Once it's paid. Card payments count straight away. Zelle, Venmo and checks count as soon as the treasurer records them, and a bank payment once it clears.
We have activities Saturday. Can we come later?
Yes — join us later in the evening. Register the same way, so there's dinner and a bunk for you.
Is it warm?
Loomis Hall has heat, hot water and indoor bathrooms. You'll still want warm layers for outside, and blankets on top of your sleeping bag.
Plans changed?
Anything you haven't paid for yet can be removed from your family page. Once it's paid, email the pack and the treasurer will sort out a refund.

We hope you can make it
